Hadaya Arabians was founded in the early 1970s by John and Marianne Hacklander. Together they forged a unique vision for the Straight Egyptian Arabian horse that may be observed in the exquisite herd which blesses not only the pastures and stables of Hadaya today, but is seen in a wider view across the world.

The passion that drove John and Marianne to seek the most coveted bloodlines in the world as a foundation for their stud is a primary source of inspiration for Jaleen Hacklander. As a young girl Jaleen witnessed her parents successful endeavors... They purchased and subsequently bred Arabian horses whose names are legendary to the most devoted scholars of the breed. With mares such as Ansata Nile Jewel (*Morafic x Falima), Ansata Nile Moon (Ansata Shah Zaman x Ansata Nile Jewel), Ansata Nile Gift (Ansata Ibn Sudan x Ansata Nile Jewel) and Ramses El Kamal (*Ramses Fayek x *Nayla) they created a legacy of excellence, which today is continued at Hadaya.

The artistry, innovative breeding strategies, understanding of Arabian type and commitment to the highest achievement within the breed standard might be as apparent in Ms. Hacklander's DNA. It certainly is evident in the superb horses of her parents' breeding such as Hadaya El Tareef (Imperial Imdal x Hadaya Nile Merytaten). This 1986 Grey Stallion was United States & Canadian National Top Ten Stallion as well as The Egyptian Event Supreme Champion Stallion. Today, along with the outstanding dam and sire lines from her parents foundation herd, Jaleen continues to push forward the boundaries of excellence. The herd now includes sons and daughters of stallions such as PVA Kariim, Ansata Iemhotep and Ansata Sinan. Recently added to foundation dam lines are the impeccable Ansata Bint Bukra and Serenity Sonbolah. But these are just words about horses that one must share time with to fully appreciate.
